Amanda Harig

Amanda Lee Harig is a mixed-media eclectic that can't decide on which color is really her favorite. While raised on the Oregon coast, she spent her formative years with a Denver tribe that helped to explore her talents & restored her ecological roots by way of backyard gardening.
In 2017, Amanda moved to San Juan County with her daughter. She fell in love with the high desert "bad-lands," the river vallery "lush-lands," and how light looks different in New Mexico. Amanda has since found her peace in Art with dedication, water-media and observing the complexity of nature. All other problems are solved by hands in dirt and quiet talks with flora.
Her work at Feat of Clay is a diverse mix of contrasting colors, imaginative scenarios and obsessive analysis of botany and ecology. Her work has been published in a local anthology entitled, In The Company of Animals. Amanda is available for commission work."
